Hybrid AEMT Class Information:
The Hybrid AEMT course is a 3-part course consisting of: 15 weeks of online learning meeting once a week for a 2-hour online instructor-led session, a 30-hour in-person simulation lab to practice AEMT skills & scenarios, and clinical experiences in EMS and the hospital emergency departments. The online portion of the AEMT class will be held from 9/1/21 to 12/15/21. There are several simulation lab enrollment options. Clinical experiences take place after the simulation lab. This course will prepare you for the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician AEMT certification exams. In addition to this certification, in order to become a State of Vermont licensed AEMT, you must become affiliated with a VT EMS licensed EMS organization.
