Information MRC Training via zoom platform: “De-Escalation – What We Say and How We Say It” with Mourning Fox.
Mourning Fox’s verbal de-escalation and violence prevention trainings incorporate his knowledge and experience along with aspects from the various models that he has been trained in. Fox is a highly energetic presenter, using real life situations and experiences to enhance the learning of his participants. People taking his class learn the predictors of violence, those risk factors that increase risk for violence, active listening skills and de-escalation techniques. In addition, participants develop a common language to describe behaviors to better enhance the communication among staff and increase the likelihood of safe outcomes.
