This National Registry practical exam will include the following levels:

EMR:  Emergency Medical Responder

EMT: Emergency Medical Technician

Students should receive exam applications from their instructors, training officers or the EMS office one month prior to the test date. Applications can also be downloaded from the Documents page on the Vermont EMS website. Candidates do not need to register with Exam Coordinators, but may seek directions from them.

AEMT Practical Exam – Londonderry @ Londonderry Volunteer Rescue Squad
Jan 23 @ 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Londonderry AEMT exam will be held at Londonderry Volunteer Rescue Squad quarters at 6068 VT Route 100 in Londonderry.

AEMT registration deadline for the AEMT exam is 1/8/2021.

This National Registry practical exam will include the following levels:

AEMT: Advanced Emergency Medical Technician

Student must email Vermont EMS at VTEMS@vermont.gov with their AEMT PATT number to register.  Information and directions may be obtained from Charlene Phelps at luvtwins@gmavt.net

Students should receive exam applications from their instructors, training officers or the EMS office and get them into the VT EMS Office one month prior to the test date. Applications can also be downloaded from the Documents page on the Vermont EMS website.

UVM EMT Class @ UVM Rowell Building Room #111
Feb 1 all-day

UVM EMT Class Information:

This EMT class will meet in UVM’s Rowell Building Room 111 in Burlington from 2/1/21 – 5/10/21. You must contact the course coordinator Adam Boise at aboise@uvm.edu to register.

This course will prepare you for the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician certification exam, which will be scheduled after successful completion of this course. In addition to this certification, in order to become a State of Vermont licensed EMT, you must become affiliated with an approved EMS organization. This EMT class will meet in UVM’s Rowell Building Room 111 in Burlington from 2/2/21 – 5/11/21. You must contact the course coordinator Pat Malone at patrick.malone@uvm.edu to register.

Bennington (Hybrid) EMT Class @ Statewide
Feb 7 all-day

Hybrid EMT Class Information:

The Hybrid EMT course is a 3-part course consisting of: 14 weeks of online learning meeting once a week for a 2-hour online, interactive, instructor-led session, this is followed by a 30-hour in-person simulation lab to practice EMT skills & scenarios, then a clinical experience riding along with EMS crews.  Visit www.benningtonrescue.org for more information.  Students affiliated and operational with a VT-licensed ambulance or EMS first response service may be eligible for special funding for courses starting in 2020. 

This EMT class will be held from 2/7/21 to 5/9/21. You must contact the course coordinator Bill Camarda at bill.camarda@benningtonrescue.org to register.

This course will prepare you for the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician certification exam, which will be scheduled after successful completion of this course. EMR, EMT, AEMT Practical Exam – Bennington @ Vermont Technical College - Bennington

There will be staggered start times for this event, beginning at 0900 for EMR/EMT candidates and 1300 for AEMT candidates.

Exam will be held at Vermont Technical Center’s campus in Bennington, located at 210 South Street.

AEMT Registration deadline is 3/5/2021. AEMT students, please submit your NR PATT number to the EMS office at VTEMS@vermont.gov and specify the date and location of the exam you are registering for.

There will be staggered start times for this event, beginning at 0800.  Tim Lambert will email participants as the exam gets closer to discuss start times.

This exam is being held at the Stowe Public Safety Facility at 350 South Main Street, Stowe on 3/27/21.  This exam is closed to all but candidates from 21-04-01-EMT.
