This National Registry practical exam will include the following levels:
EMR: Emergency Medical Responder
EMT: Emergency Medical Technician
Students should receive exam applications from their instructors, training officers or the EMS office one month prior to the test date. Applications can also be downloaded from the Documents page on the Vermont EMS website. Candidates do not need to register with Exam Coordinators, but may seek directions from them.
This exam is being held at the First Branch Ambulance / Chelsea Fire Station at 324 VT Route 110 in Chelsea on 8/1/21.

Fairfax VEFR Class Information:
This VT Emergency First Responder class will meet at Fairfax Rescue from 8/28/21 to 8/29/21. You must contact the course coordinators Bambi Dame or Kathy Jochim at director@fairfaxrescue.org to register.
This course will prepare you for certification as a Vermont Emergency First Responder. After successful completion of this introductory course, you will also be receive certification in the Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED (or equivalent). To become certified as a VEFR, you must be affiliated with an approved EMS organization. To find the EMS agencies near you, go to the map locator at the top of this page.
