Bennington VEFR Class Information:

This VT Emergency First Responder class will meet at Bennington Rescue Squad on 1/29/22 and 1/30/22. You must contact the course coordinator Bill Camarda to register.

This course will prepare you for certification as a Vermont Emergency First Responder. After successful completion of this introductory course, you will also be receive certification in the Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED (or equivalent).   To become certified as a VEFR, you must be affiliated with an approved EMS organization.  To find the EMS agencies near you, go to the map locator at the top of this page.

EMT Practical Exam – Londonderry @ Londonderry Volunteer Rescue Squad

This exam is being held at the Londonderry Volunteer Rescue Squad on April 2, 2022.  Event is scheduled to begin at 0900.  Marge will email participants as the exam gets closer to discuss start times.

This National Registry practical exam will include the following levels:

EMR: Emergency Medical Responder

EMT: Emergency Medical Technician

Applications to this exam must be submitted via the LIGHTS portal AND also a paper EMS Exam Application form available on the Vermont EMS website. Candidates do not need to register with Exam Coordinators, but may seek directions from them.
