Join the Rutland / Addison County MRC in provide a cooling and misting tent to prevent heat related injuries at Addison Field Days/Fair. MRC volunteers will staff the tent and provide education to members of the public about heat related injuries such as heat stroke and heat exhaustion.

Glover EMR Class Information:
This EMR class will meet at Glover Ambulance Service from 8/13/19 – 10/22/19. Contact the course coordinator Adam Heuslein at 802-673-8592 to register.
This course will prepare you for the National Registry Emergency Medical Responder certification exam, which will be scheduled after successful completion of this course. In addition to this certification, in order to become a State of Vermont licensed EMR, you must become affiliated with an approved EMS organization. To find the EMS agencies near you, go to the map locator at the top of this page.
Join the Northwest VT MRC for POD (Point of Distribution) Throughput Exercises. PODs are a mechanism for distributing medicine to those at risk during a public health emergency. Medical Reserve Corps volunteers will be activated in the event that the dozens of Points of Distribution sites across Vermont are activated.
Mental Health Training with Local United Counseling Services. Disasters create a high stress environment and can affect everyone in different ways. It is important to understand stress management, and mental health support for yourself, disaster survivors and responders. This will count as one the required core training for MRC. Join the MRC of Southwest Vermont at this event.

The Peacham Acoustic Music Festival is also a blend of the old and the new – roots music from the Celtic Traditions, old time fiddle tunes, and a touch of blues and bluegrass – not to mention The Dance!!! Northeast Kingdom (NEK) MRC providing tick kits, set-up breast feeding station, and recruiting more MRC volunteers. Please join us and help volunteer for this fun filled day.
Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
