Join the MRC in helping out at the first aid station for St. Albans’ Bay Day – includes the race and fireworks. Bay day activities include 40th annual Great Race, Face Painting and crafts, children games/activities, live music, and fireworks.
Cambridge EMT Class Information:
This EMT class will meet at the Cambridge Rescue Squad from 7/8/19 to 11/25/19. You must contact the course coordinator Diana Osborn at firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
This course will prepare you for the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician certification exam, which will be scheduled after successful completion of this course. In addition to this certification, in order to become a State of Vermont licensed EMT, you must become affiliated with an approved EMS organization. Free Water will be given out to PREVENT Dehydration.

Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
Stop the Bleed trainings co-sponsored by the Lamoille Valley MRC, Copley Hospital and Morristown EMS, who wants to ensure members of our community, workplaces, and schools are knowledgeable in the use of compression techniques or a tourniquet in trying to stop uncontrolled bleeding. Join us for this FREE course.
Join the Rutland / Addison County MRC in provide a cooling and misting tent to prevent heat related injuries at Addison Field Days/Fair. MRC volunteers will staff the tent and provide education to members of the public about heat related injuries such as heat stroke and heat exhaustion.
