Hybrid EMT Class Information:

The Hybrid EMT course is a 3-part course consisting of: 14 weeks of online learning meeting once a week for a 2-hour online, interactive, instructor-led session, this is followed by a 30-hour in-person simulation lab to practice EMT skills & scenarios, then a clinical experience riding along with EMS crews.  Visit www.benningtonrescue.org for more information.  Students affiliated and operational with a VT-licensed ambulance or EMS first response service may be eligible for special funding for courses.

This EMT class will be held from 9/19/21 to 12/17/21. You must contact the course coordinator Bill Camarda at bill.camarda@benningtonrescue.org to register.

This course will prepare you for the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician certification exam, which will be scheduled after successful completion of this course. In addition to this certification, in order to become a State of Vermont licensed EMT, you must become affiliated with an approved EMS organization.
